Abigail Kerr
Abigail Kerr is a personal injury attorney at Geiger Legal Group, representing individuals and families across Georgia who have been injured due to someone else’s negligence. Her unique background in law enforcement and insurance defense gives clients a powerful advantage when pursuing compensation after a serious accident.
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Abigail has called Georgia home for more than a decade. Before becoming an attorney, she served as both a patrol officer and detective with the Holly Springs Police Department in Holly Springs, Georgia. She is also a certified firearms and defensive tactics instructor and maintains an active Georgia POST certification. Her years in law enforcement developed the investigative skills and attention to detail that continue to serve her clients today.
Abigail earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University before receiving her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law.
Prior to joining Geiger Legal Group, Abigail practiced insurance defense at a large national law firm, representing insurance companies in personal injury litigation. Today, she uses that firsthand knowledge of insurance company strategies to advocate for people injured in car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability cases, and other personal injury claims. Understanding how insurance companies evaluate and defend cases allows her to anticipate challenges and build stronger claims for her clients.
Abigail is an active member of the Christian Legal Society, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Blue Ridge Bar Association, and the Fraternal Order of Police Joe Burson Lodge 65. She is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Florida.
Outside the office, Abigail enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, sailing, hiking, and traveling.
