Will is a lawyer and Cherokee County native. Cherokee High School prepared him for college: first at Young Harris Junior College and then completing a Political Science B.S. at the University of Georgia. Will is a graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He began practicing law in 2009.

Will is an Eagle Scout out of Troop 241 in Canton, Georgia. He has the distinction of earning every rank Scouting offers. Will credits his time in Scouts with developing his leadership skills and his devotion to serving his community.

Always focused on community, Will served on numerous boards and commissions around the county; including the Cherokee Arts Board, the Main Street Board in Canton, and currently serves on the Drug and Alcohol Accountability Court Steering Committee which supports and promotes the Mental Health and Drug Accountability Courts.

Prior to joining Geiger Legal Group, Will served seven years as a magistrate judge for Cherokee County. He heard criminal, civil, small claims, eviction, and warrant cases.

Will was elected twice to serve on the Canton City Council, representing the downtown area. While on the City Council, Will promoted responsible, planned growth around the city while establishing programs that helped all Canton residents. Will vacated his seat when called to serve as a full-time judge.

At Geiger Legal Group, Will handles personal injury, premise liability, motor vehicle accidents, and workers’ compensation cases. Will is an experienced Estate Planning lawyer and assists clients with wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance directives for healthcare. Will also helps families navigate the probate process after a loved one passes away.

Will found a home with Geiger Legal Group: combining the excitement of helping clients and the satisfaction of supporting the community. He is always looking for ways to help teachers, first responders, and those who help others in need.

When it comes to hobbies, Will enjoys sailing, reading, and gardening. An avid music lover, you will find him out at concerts, usually with a stack of vinyl records under his arm to add to his already excessive collection.

Will lives in Canton with his wife, Cantrece, children, Posy and Arthur, and dog, MJ.
