Use the documents on this page to complete your free will and free powers of attorney. So, how can we offer you this service for free? By being more efficient with our time and yours. When you submit the relevent information concerning your wills and powers of attorney to us, we will prepare those documents and either upload them to your online closing file or email them directly to you for your review. They will be in final form at the time of your closing. Once the other parties to the transaction have left the closing table, you will sign your will and powers of attorney. We will witness and notarize the documents and include everything in one concise package for your safekeeping.

For some people, once these documents are taken care of, they may never have to visit a lawyer again. Of course, we hope that your first experience with us will convince you to visit us on many occasions, either as a social call or as you buy and sell your way to financial prosperity!

Last Will and Testament:
This document is probably the most important Legal document you should have. It will direct the disposition of your assets upon your death with a minimum of time and cost spent in Probate Court. This form will also allow you to set up a Trust for your minor children, so that you can control the timing and amount of disbursements for their education and welfare. A valid and up to date Last Will and Testament is an important part of assuring a simple and inexpensive transfer of title to your heirs upon the event of your death and keeps the chain of title clean.

Health Care Power of Attorney:
This document is crucially important in those times when you may not be able to make health care decisions for yourself. Unlike a Living Will, which is used only in certain limited situations and which dictates your decisions on your treatment directly to the physician or other health care professionals, the Health Care Power of Attorney allows you to appoint your spouse or other trusted individual to carry out your expressed specific directions as to a wide variety of health care concerns.

Business Power of Attorney:
This document will allow you to designate your spouse or other trusted individual to make business decisions for you; such as transactions through bank accounts, credit card accounts, etc. This Power of Attorney should NOT be relied upon to authorize an agent to sell your house or other real estate. Powers of Attorney for that purpose need to be specific as to the particular transaction, identifying the real estate, the purchaser, the contract price, etc. For assistance with a Specific Power of Attorney in connection with your closing, please contact us. (Again, unlike other firms, there will be no cost involved with the preparation of that document.)
